Michael Phelps wins his 1st gold Medal of the 2008 Olympics today in the 400m individual medley.
Phelps achieved new world record in the race.

Monday 11th August, 2008

Michael Phelps wins his 2nd gold medal of the 2008 games in the 4x400m freestyle relay alongside team-mates Cullen Jones, Jason Lezak and Garrett Weber-Gale in another world-record time.

Tuesday 12th August, 2008

Michael Phelps wins the 200m freestyle and claims his 3rd gold medal with in a world record time.
He becomes the fifth person to win 9 gold medals in the modern Olympics history.
